Brianna Kinsman is a writer, liturgist, and actress. She graduated from Fuller Theological Seminary with an M.A. in Theology and an emphasis in Theology and the Arts. She is currently a member of the Fujimura Fellows, and is a co-host on the Culture Care Podcast with Mako Fujimura. One of Brianna’s current projects is directing Illumine Playback Theatre, an all-female theatre troupe that interprets real-life stories told by audience members through improvisation, movement, and music. Her areas of interest and work include collective imagination, communal healing, movement and narrative expression, and play as spiritual formation. Whether creating litanies, performing, or writing poetry, Brianna sees storytelling as a way to guide communities to form a relationship between imagination, body, and mystery.
Brianna currently resides in Pasadena, California with her husband, Michael.
